Desiree Goldey, our founder, brings years of hands-on experience in talent acquisition, sales, marketing, and culture development to the heart of everything we do. As an award-winning leader and fierce advocate for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB), Desiree has made it her life’s work to challenge outdated norms, empower people, and create spaces where everyone can thrive.

As a queer, Black woman, Desiree’s lived experiences inform her approach to leadership and consulting, giving her a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing today’s workplaces. Living in Austin, TX, she combines resilience, humor, and intelligence to foster meaningful change both inside and outside the workplace.

What’s Next for Do Better Consulting
Desiree continues to expand her impact. In 2025, she plans to release a book that delves into her transformative experiences in the talent and corporate worlds. She’ll also co-host Talentless, a new podcast launching in the summer of 2025. In it, she and her co-host, Ashley King, CEO of DEI Labs, will explore the intersections of talent, leadership, and DEIB through thought-provoking discussions and a touch of humor.
